Transfer is tomorrow..happy spring!

Our transfer is scheduled for tomorrow lunchtime around 12:30. So far we have all five embryos holding on...I'm praying that all the little buggers make it to tomorrow. We'll transfer the two best and freeze any left that are of good quality. We don't dare try to transfer anymore than two embryos due to my unicornuate uterus. As is I'm already nervous as all get out that we're playing Russian roulett by transfering two and hoping to God that we don't get twins. Yet we've discussed things with my future perinatologist and my RE and of course my husband and I and we all think that two is a perfectly acceptable number to transfer.

I was thinking it would be so great if this worked because our retrieval was on St Patrick's Day, the transfer on the first day of spring..and both occuring the week of Easter (eggs and all!). I'm a cornball I know, what can I say. So wish me luck. Come 11:30 I'll be downing my valium they told me I have to take (for uterine relaxation - hell maybe I'll be lucky enough to get a nice buzz out of the deal- haha just kidding!). Then my husband will come home from work to pick me up and off we go. The rest is just history I guess! I'll say it again..but my goodness we've been so blessed with these embryos - I really didn't think we would maybe get any at all due to our cycle being cancelled...let alone have five. Some people may say five is a measly number... I say five is a great number!

Good luck! I love the idea of the St. Patrick's Day, Spring, Easter trifecta coming together for the perfect transfer. :)

I hope all is going well with the transfer today! I'm praying that everything goes off without a hitch! I can't wait to hear the results in two weeks (not even). It is so exciting!

Enjoy the buzz since it could be your last for at least 9 months!

I know I've already read this (and commented), but I've been down about my 3 embryos, and seeing how optimistic you were about your five makes me feel much better! Only a few more days to beta for you! Yay!
