Please go give Meredith a big old hug if you can. She is yet another girl who has made proof that being pregnant with a mullerian uterine abnormalitiy like have a unicornuate or a uterine septum = infertility, shortening cervix, contractions, and bedrest. She's 24 weeks and has been admitted to the hospital and may be stuck there for the next few weeks. On our end of the spectrum, I've had an awesome last few days and couldn't be happier with how this week has ended!
My husband has always said I was a little OCD and number obsessed. What do you think? Here are some numbers I thought of today:
Days since our IVF: 153
Days I have been on pelvic rest: 153
Days since my husband wish he had never heard of pelvic rest! 153
Consecutive days of bedrest since my cervix shortened: 81
Total days of bedrest since our IVF: 105
McDonald's double cheeseburgers with extra pickles eaten so far in pregnancy: 16 (none this week - thank you Ms. Nausea)
Number of contractions so far today: 23
Cartons of Edy's half gallon vanilla bean ice cream eaten this week: 2 (my most tolerated food during nausea)
Time I have thrown up this week: 8 (I thought morning sickness was supposed to end in the first trimester - maybe it's the new trendy thing? Hmm, I will consult the style network, LOL!)
Times Spot has had the hiccups today: 3
Consecutive days I have eaten peanut butter and jelly: 30+
Number of names we have narrowed down for Spot: 3
Times I have flipped from left side to right on the couch today: 10
Times I have glanced at the clock wondering when my husband would be home with dinner: 6
Packages that the UPS or FedEx man have brought this week: 5
Number of dreams I had last night revolving around sex: 3 (no you dirty people - they didn't involve the UPS or FedEx men!)
Hours of the olympics watched this week: 20+
Movies watched this week: 12
Times today glancing at my feet thinking I really need a pedicure: 5
This is the one I keep thinking of!
Days until we are 24 weeks: 1
Times I have thought I am the luckiest most fortunate girl in the world: to many too count.
What numbers have you guys thought of today?

Number of days until I'm "full term" - 21
Number of weeks until I'm "full term" - 3
Number of kicks and squirms I've gotten since waking them both up this morning - 11
Number of minutes it's been since I took my thyroid pill (can't eat for 60 minutes after) - 59
Gotta go eat.
But first, let me tell you how HAPPY I am that you are hitting 24 weeks. THRILLED beyond words...sigh. You are doing so well, and Spot is lucky to have such a loving mommy.
Had to LOL at your pelvic rest comment. Our doctor has told us if we make it to 34 weeks we can "make like rabbits" which has Scott all excited, but I'm like, "uh, I'm measuring 42 weeks right now, so do you really think THAT is happening?" LOL
I keep thinking of a percentage that I calculated from Dr. Liccardi's blog: Less than 3% chance of conceiving on our own. You and Spot hang in there. Thank you for your comment.
Number of times a day I am thankfully for blogging friends like you...too many to count!
Happy 24 weeks!
Oh the sex dreams...isn't it fun to be restricted? And add in the fact that my husband was deployed for 13 months...that makes the dreams a little more frequent. LOL!
Numbers I have thought of:
*Number of babies I'll be having 2
*BP max 145/95, must be lower
*36 weeks, my goal
Happy 24 weeks today...it's a HUGE accomplishment! Way to go!
3 weeks til school starts (BOO!)
5 - 6 weeks til our FET attempt!
Kim
I am so so happy for you! This is a huge milestone and I remember being there! I also remember that from here on you are definately closer to the end than the beginning! Congrats for you and spot!
Counting down the days until I am 31 weeks - 4
That's about it :).
Love the #s!! Can you define pelvic rest I'm not super familiar with the term.
I don't have too many #s for today. But cheering you on for your 24th week!!
**BIG HUGS**
So, if you wrote this yesterday, you would be 24 weeks today. Hooray! The chance is always better than no chance, but you are going to make it much, much longer before we get to meet Spot in person.
WHOA my head is spinning ! What a great list
I LOVE that picture of you and the pup in the previous post. Love your count--so glad to see the days continue to grow in number!
Since I'm a day late in commenting....HAPPY 24 WEEKS!!!!! That is cause for a party!
What I'm thinking right now is:
Number of days until full term: 6
I love the one where your husband wishes he had never heard of pelvic rest. Poor man. Right now most of my counting is how many days till the end of my contract which is like 14.
And yay for 24 weeks!!!!!
Numbers I've thought of:
Numbers of babies I'm having: 3
Numbers of diapers per day I'll be changing: 30
It's great to hear you in such great spirits! KUTGW! And, the pelvic rest thing...best not to count! Mine started the day of IVF and continues until after c/s. lol
I love numbers! :) Of all the figures you posted, I most love that you are one day (actually just a few hours now) from 24 weeks. Congrats!!! I had to laugh about the pb&j and the ice cream... and now I'm curious about the three names for Spot.

Number of times I have THOUGHT about getting Carter's room started today: 5. Number of times I've actually GONE into Carter's room to get it started: 0. Hmmm...

GRRRRRR!!!!! Barometer of my sanity reads: GOING INSANE!
Happy happy 24 weeks! Soon, you'll be counting down days and not weeks before you see Spot! :)
Hi there. Frequent reader and occasional comment leaver. I like all of your numbers.
Mine 29, I had a 1 in 29 chance of being a carrier for cystic fibrosis. Found out today I am that one. Now 841, there is an 841 chance that both DH and I are carriers.
So happy for you about the baby. I am sure bed rest gets tiring. 24 weeks is great.
oxCongratulations on the 24 wk mark!
My numbers?
-Coasting down week 32
-Wanting the next 8 weeks to fly by so I can see what our ova and sperm actually produced. (like baking bread - it takes too long to enjoy it)
- 202 ... pounds that is! I've cracked the scale!
Hope you and Spot have a great week!
Congrats on making 24 weeks!
