Brynn moving on up!

Just a quickie post...(ahh quickies...wait...get your minds out of the gutter people, LOL!) Brynn officially won't fit in any of her newborn sized clothes anymore and has used her last newborn sized Pampers Swaddler Sensitive diaper. She is officially a graduate to sized 0 - 3month clothes and size one diapers. Better late than never is what I say, we're so proud of you Brynn! Now if only I could get you to stop spitting up so much on me all day that I can smell of something other than curdled breast milk. But I'll gladly wear my long sleeved t shirts from Land's End that are sopping wet anyday if it means you're growing and thriving...both of which you are. You even try to hold your own bottle often these days...You've come so far....We love you sweetie!

Update and desperate cry...Brynn can't poop.......please help...any suggestions?

Official poop report...Brynn finally let go with a big bang at 8PM, thanks for all of your help!

She is so pretty. I'm happy to hear she is growing!! My niece was that way...she was wearing 24 months clothes when she was almost 4 years old! She has always been a petite little thing.

That is so HUGE to be in 0-3 month clothes. Yay!!! Congrats Brynn - you are such a big girl!!!

Your question about pooping....we always used dark Karo syrup for the girls. My Pedi told me to use it if they were constipated, meaning they had poop that was hard as marbles. Which they didn't. We used it when they didn't poop for two days, and it worked like a charm!! One teaspoon of dark Karo syrup in the bottle and she should go just fine. (Just saying what worked for us - may not work for everyone.)

Yeah for Brynn's growth! Yeah for her Mommy and Dad!
Infant glycerin suppositories are very effective and quick acting.
Good luck, ((Hugs))

Go Brynn! Such a smart girl.

I've heard that sometimes taking her temperature rectally will take care of that problem.

YEAH! Growing Baby!

Try a lil bit of watered down apple or pear juice. it has very quick resolutions. I have heard the temperature trick canhelp.

Way to Grow Brynn!! As far as the poopy question, all the suggestions given already are what I've heard. I also heard a warm bath may help relax the bowels...then you have a whole other problem. :)

Way to go, Brynn!
I used to work at a Pediatrician's office, and the nurses would suggest the Karo syrup in the bottle.

She's such a big girl now, and a CUTIE!!

I agree with some of the other girls - Karo syrup usually does the trick!

Look at her holding that bottle! Too precious!

Okay, so you know those cases where you say, "cute baby" just to be polite, even though you're thinking, "eek - not so cute baby?" This is SO not one of those times - your daughter is precious!!! And I love the name Brynn. It's my MIL's name, and I've always thought it was so beautiful. Much congratulations!

I was reading your IF history on the sidebar - tough pregnancy, huh? You have no idea how happy I am that you found my blog!!! I've been feeling so down in the dumps lately about my cycle, like why am I doing this, no one is getting a positive in the blogosphere. So, your happy ending is JUST what I needed to read today. And thanks for your support. It's nice to "meet" you.

Lots of luck with the poppying - the only thing that works when I'm struggling with that is espresso. LOL!

I just reread my comment and wanted to clarify that I do realize it is your DAUGHTER who is struggling, not you. :)

you can use brown sugar in the bottle too, one tsp. Be careful with Karo make sure it is in date or it can cause infant botulism

She is just too cute.

My girls had a lot of "no poopy" issues as well. What worked best for us were the Babylax glycerine (sp?) suppositories. They acutally look like little baby ennemas. They say for 2 yrs and up, but the doctors told us that they were fine - glycerine is not actually a medication so...

Anyhow, watch out though because they work almost INSTANTLY.

Our doctor also suggested 2oz of water a day.

GL!
