Neela still loves her human sibling Brynn...forever best buds. From the moments she used to bring my stomach dog toys while I was pregnant and on bedrest to the months afterwards...she is such a good doggie.
So yesterday I was talking to my friend and I said...so when do you think we should plan on moving forward with things. Hmmm she replied, "In the past, I think we've talked about September." "Yes, " I replied..."September would be a good time of year." That's in 6 short months. Gulp. We have a lot to do. I've never been more scared...but to be honest I've never been more excited. I can't think of a more wonderful person to be doing this with. My husband and I are so blessed. I just can't believe this is happening. And you want to know something else cool? I told my mom that we're doing this for sure...and she couldn't stop smiling. It seems like everyone is on board, I just can't believe it. In time I can tell the story of how this all came to be, if people are interested. As I said...sometimes it takes me awhile to talk about touchy subjects. Heck it took me 4 months to talk about Brynn's birth. I guess I go forward with my guard up. I'm not sure why.
But regardless...there's one thing I can't get over. Where do such amazing people come from? How or why have I been so blessed to stumble upon such a beautiful person such as my friend? Even more so, how is it that her husband happens to be not only okay with this all, but he also happens to be my husband's best friend as well. Sometimes the stars a line, the light shines brightly...and the world is a very good place indeed. How have we been so fortunate?

That is just so great! You have a wonderful friend and it slways nice when everything seems to align in your favor. Especially after going through all we go through in th IF world we need to take it when we can get it.

Blessed, blessed, blessed. That's what you are with all you do and everything and everyone you touch. The other day I read your last post and my eyes brimmed with tears. I stopped in that very moment and thanked God for the miracle he worked with Brynn's delivery. I seriously got chills.

Brynn is lucky to have such a great big "sister" in Neela. I think that September is a fabulous month. I can't wait to hear all of the details. I am not 100% sure, but it sounds like you are considering surrogacy. I am in the beginning stages of attempting to become a gestational surrogate for a couple. It is such an exciting, but terrifying place to be. Good Luck!

I love the photos of those two how sweet. My dog wants to lick the baby all the time. The dog is funny when G cries - she runs into the other room. Doesn't want anything to do with her then.
