Some 24 wk photos from the growth scan

Little girl Spot is really squished in the old banana of a unicornuate uterus already - they are telling me. Since she's breech and so far down, they weren't able to get a full profile view. But here's a few of what we got.

The yellow arrow is pointing at the darkened area that is her throat. The anesthetist in me found that amazing!

Poor little Spot's head is in the top curve of the uterus (if you picture a unicornuate uterus like a banana) You can see her nose and nostrils which looks like a little pig nose. But I have always really liked pigs...so that's cool with me.

This one her head looks a little less squished and she's looking at us face on. Still a bit alien like with a little piggy nose - but hey I'll take it :-) Her right hand is also near her face.

The long bone to the left is her bicep. My husband and I feel that since we started her on a steroid regimen so young (24wks) that we should nickname our daughter Helga and arrange for her to play for the eastern european olympic team. We might as well get full bang for our buck, right? Yes we have issues, I know :-)

Check out those long legs all tucked up in the squatting position. She looks like she's a sprinter ready to pounce out of the starting blocks, LOL! Wonder if she'll be tall like her dad (6'3'') and I (5'10'') are.

Well, I'm off to bed to hopefully catch some sleep - I'll try to catch up a bit more tomorrow. Hopefully everyone is having a great week...tomorrow is Friday...YAY!

I am a sucker for some baby pictures! I love those. I also love the 3D ones they do now, they didn't have that stuff when I was pregnant, you know, back in days when the dinosaurs roamed the earth...

Clearly, she is going to be just beautiful! It is already obvious.

Really pretty, looks like an athlete and runner like her mom. She has a sweet nose, love the hand near her face.

Beautiful pictures of Spot! I bet she'll be tall since both of you are. And you look great in the pictures you posted of you! I'm so glad the appointment went well.

Since Helga is in the squatting position, maybe she can be in the weight lifting competition of the Olympics...clean and jerk?

(The name Helga reminds me of the Russia girl in the movie Dodgeball. She was beastly!)

Awww! She's beautiful! BTW, Happy Friday! She WILL probably do well in track, or basket ball. We think we are having a hobbit. I'm 5'5" and my hubby is shorter than me.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful spot pictures. I cannot believe how much they can see on an U/S. That's pretty amazing.
And thanks for praying!!

You guys are doing so great...just think, Monday will be 25 weeks! (right?)

Love the pics - thanks for sharing...and did you finish the John Adams DVDs? Did you like them? I'm getting bored, and need to find a new miniseries to consume my time.

I have many Polish cheerleaders on my squad...no Helgas yet but they would def kick ass if they were on the team. I have had Kinga, Angelika, Sylwia (w is v) BUT THEN there was a Igata (ee - gotta) sister Ivana (eye vahna) and I kid you not...last name Kovcz (sp?) it was pronounced COX

THAT SHOULD MAKE YOU LAUGH!!

I hope you have a lengthy little girl like I have. Addyson definitely has some long limbs and I'm already thinking of all the sports that she could play. LOL!

So you think a sexy smile would get Cody to change my bag? I think that may work, too. LOL!

Beautiful. Beyond beautiful. My husband and I always tease that if our offspring get my torso and his legs, they’ll easily be over 7 feet tall! So happy for you, hun. Beyond happy.

Oh, that sweet little thing! I love that little pig nose. Makes me really miss that time back when Keira was in utero, believe it or not.

I love all your captions ;) So glad that little Spot is doing well. And don't feel talking about her pig nose...I say all the time that this kid has monkey toes that wrap around my ribs!
Hope things are still going well
